Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV)

CTV ships are generally of the catamaran type, manufactured from aluminum. They are used for transporting service personnel to windturbine sites and gas/oil platforms. With 2 x 900 KW (2 x 1220 hp) and a speed of about 25 kns (about 46 km/h).

The yard has specialized itself to dock these ships with a system to be able to adapt the ship traveling cars to the special underwater vessels. In addition to having certified welders for this work, the company itself has recently been L.M.K. certified (required by classification society) to get the license to carry out this specialized welding work. Major (welding) repairs are carried out under the prescribed conditions in a shelter.
